CAMP is over... I'm sure many of you have enjoyed yourselves... The photos that have been taken throughout the camp will be posted soon, including a video montage. Truly, without the grace of God, this camp would not have been a success. I would like to take this chance to thank all who have contributed to this camp... :)

P.S: This blog will be revamped once more now that camp is over. Look forward to a new blogskin!

Explanation of Logo:
The swerving sides of the "wings" and the drastic curves depict the earthly problems and obstacles that attempt to divert us away from God. Yet even with the problems, the cross still stands unfazed and untouched, totally unswerving. That is how great our Lord is, guiding us through with our faith and trust in him.

hey, it's me again. lois!

is it just me, or is this format just a little hard to read? :P wait next meeting lah.

mSers, thanks for that meeting we could stand tgt and pray re mustard seed's purpose. I was encouraged by what Ben said-- words to the effect that there will be an mS because God gives gifts of writing and communication. may we sing with pen and paper and camera lenses :)

but now there is an issue facing us; the need for a leader. Greg's YFC ministry for next year, along with the need to catch up on 3 months of work, will almost certainly occupy him for a good while. I know everyone's madly busy and all, and it would not be good to press somebody into the role for the sake of continuing a ministry on our own steam. let's pray that God will provide a leader, or if need be that we can let this ministry lie fallow for a while? God willing, i'd love to take up the leadership again in 9 months' time :) :)

just a thought that we might use for one of those pictures-with-a-message. We may ask, seek and even knock, but would we blame God for not opening that particular door if there's a vicious wolf behind it? (Madeline's Kero is not counted. kidding! :P)

haha, here i will say but two things.

1) dooo post mSers!

2) we need guidance, motivation and purpose in this ministry of writing. read smth good about that the other day, will post up more shortly, God willing.

i think the most useful thing we cld do is remind. keep reminding each other of God and Christ, how to live as disciples and not just part of the crowd... i used to think it easy, but increasingly i'm finding it hard to see life and live life God's way.Well may He guide us all; may we bear fruit, offer Him the fruit of our lips and our writing hands.

consider also: how is "mustard seed" representative of what we seek to do? if any other inspiration comes, it would be to the good to get a name that summarises clearly what we are. :)
